Not included: ecommerce, payments, booking systems, memberships, custom portals or software, branding, copywriting, photography, legal-policy drafting, ongoing maintenance, ongoing SEO or paid advertising. The recipient remains responsible for domain, hosting, email, licences and other third-party charges.

Eligibility

Built for a real UK small business.

The applicant must be an actively trading UK small business or sole trader. The person applying must be at least 18 and authorised to approve the project.

The project must fit the fixed website scope. The selected business must be able to supply accurate copy and appropriately licensed images, and respond during the agreed build period.

No purchase is required. One application is allowed per business. Sellick Web Co, the judge, campaign suppliers and their immediate households cannot enter.

An independent judge will review the scoring and decide any tie by comparing business need first, followed by likely benefit. Their full name will be available on request before judging begins.
