Sellick Web Co. is the trading name of Harry Sellick, a sole trader. Our correspondence address is 37 Butts Green Road, Hornchurch, London, RM11 2JS.
1. Quotes and agreement
An enquiry does not commit either of us. A project starts only when the written proposal is accepted and the first agreed payment has cleared. If the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal takes priority for that project.
2. Prices and VAT
Prices are confirmed in writing before work starts. Sellick Web Co. is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to the agreed price. Third-party costs such as domains, paid fonts, stock imagery, software subscriptions or specialist services are included only where the proposal says they are.
3. Payment options
The proposal may offer payment in full, staged payments of 50% to begin, 25% at agreed design approval and 25% before launch, or three equal monthly payments. The finished website will not launch until the full balance and any approved additional work have been paid.
4. Scope, feedback and changes
The proposal lists what is included, the agreed review points and any revision allowance. Requests outside that scope are discussed and quoted before extra work begins. Clear, combined feedback helps keep the project on schedule.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for supplying accurate content, approvals and access by the agreed dates. You confirm that you own or have permission to use any text, images, logos or other material you supply. Delays in receiving these items may move the delivery date.
6. Cancellation and pauses
If a project is cancelled or paused, you pay for work completed and committed third-party costs up to that point. Any refund is calculated fairly against work already completed, reserved time and costs incurred. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where consumer cancellation rights apply, the proposal will explain them and we will only begin during a cancellation period after receiving the required request.
7. Ownership and licences
Once the full balance is paid, you receive the rights described in the proposal for the final approved website and original project materials. Pre-existing tools, platform code, third-party software, fonts, images and services remain subject to their own licences. Unused concepts and working files remain with Sellick Web Co.
8. Domains, hosting and outside services
The proposal states who controls the domain, hosting and connected services. Providers may change prices, features or availability outside our control. We will explain known ongoing costs, but the account holder is responsible for renewals unless an ongoing care agreement says otherwise.
9. Testing, launch and support
We test the agreed website on current mainstream browsers and common screen sizes. You are asked to approve the site before launch. Post-launch support and ongoing maintenance are included only for the period or plan shown in the proposal.
10. Liability
We provide the services with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate supplied content, third-party outages, unauthorised changes, missed renewals outside our control or use beyond the agreed purpose. Any liability will be considered under applicable law and the project agreement.
11. Complaints and contact
Please raise a concern promptly so we can try to put it right. Email sellick-web-co@hotmail.com. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
